HRDA Reimburses Company
Fully After 1-2 Months

HRDA in-house training follows a straightforward process that allows Cyprus companies to receive full reimbursement of the training cost.

STEP 1

Book a Seminar with CPDs.Academy

Your organisation selects a seminar topic and schedules the training with CPDs.Academy.
The seminar can be customised based on the regulatory framework, operational needs and professional background of your team.

STEP 2

Training Cost Equals the HRDA Subsidy

CPDs.Academy charges only the HRDA subsidy amount, meaning there are no additional training fees beyond what HRDA reimburses.

STEP 3

Your Team Attends the Training

The seminar is delivered by an HRDA-accredited trainer either:
• at your company premises • at an HRDA-approved external training venue

STEP 4

HRDA Reimburses the Company

Following completion of the programme and submission of the required documentation, HRDA reimburses the company for the training cost, typically within 1–2 months.

Delivered by HRDA-Accredited Trainers

CPDs.Academy collaborates with a network of HRDA-accredited professional trainers who specialise in regulatory compliance, financial services and professional development.
While CPDs.Academy organises and coordinates the training programmes, the seminars themselves are delivered by trainers individually accredited by the Human Resource Development Authority.

This structure allows companies to benefit from high-level expertise while still qualifying for HRDA subsidy schemes.

Eligibility for HRDA In-House Training

Planning timeline for HRDA training applications

Planning and Notice Period

HRDA requires that applications for in-house training programmes be submitted at least three weeks before the training date.
Companies should therefore plan their training schedules well in advance to ensure eligibility for the subsidy.

Documents Required for HRDA Reimbursement

After the seminar is completed, the company must submit specific documentation to HRDA in order to receive the subsidy.

These documents include:

Invoice and payment receipt issued by CPDs.Academy
Invoice and payment receipt for the training venue, if the venue does not belong to the organising company
Proof of payment of Social Insurance contributions for the months during which the training programme took place
The Employment document (“Ergodotisi”) for each trainee generated from the ERGANI system of the Social Insurance Services
Documents required for HRDA training reimbursement
HRDA approved training venue in Cyprus

Training Venue Requirements

If the seminar takes place outside the company's premises, the venue must be an HRDA-approved training venue.
This is a requirement for the programme to qualify for HRDA subsidy.
CPDs.Academy can assist organisations in identifying suitable HRDA-approved venues where necessary.

Typical Training Topics

In-house seminars can cover a wide range of professional and regulatory topics, including:

Financial regulation and compliance
Anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks

Training content can be tailored to the specific regulatory environment applicable to your organisation. For details on annual CPD obligations, see our guide to CySEC CPD requirements for certified professionals.
